Girl Scout Crop 2011

On Saturday, April 2, 2011, there will be a 12-hour Girl Scout Crop! An exciting all day fundraising event for adults that will benefit the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York‘s Family & Friends Fundraising Campaign.

Croppers will come together for 12 hours to help support New York City’s largest girls-only youth and leadership development program.  As a Girl Scout, girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade are provided opportunities which help them explore their potential, advance their interests, embark on challenging careers, develop self esteem and responsibility.  They learn to lead with courage, confidence and character to make their communities and the world a better place.  These positive values are a foundation for life; and they discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together.

100% of the entry fee by participants will be donated to the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York to help girls become tomorrow’s leaders.  What they learn will last them a lifetime.
